Shepherd′s Hill at the Crossroads provides Christ-centered faith and life enrichment through year-round outdoor ministry.
Shepherd’s Hill at the Crossroads is a Christ-centered outdoor ministry, serving people of all ages through retreats, camps, family reunions, and a place to relax. Shepherd’s Hill is organized as a 501c3 non-profit governed by a board of directors elected from Christians from around North Dakota. It is church-affiliated with the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod as a Recognized Service Organization. Shepherd’s Hill at the Crossroads is located in a geographically unique area of North Dakota, the Turtle Mountains, just miles from the Canadian border, the International Peace Gardens, and the Wakopa State Wildlife Area.
The central focus of Shepherd’s Hill at the Crossroads is to strengthen the faith of all who join us here. Summer months are filled with youth camps from the ages of Kindergarten through early college-age young adults. During the summer, we also provide trail rides and other horse-related activities for the public, along with our camping and RV sites open to the public. Our main objective is to nurture Christians in their faith in the midst of a world and all its challenges. Because of our location and setting in the Turtle Mountains, we place special emphasis on seeing how the creation around them points to God, who has created all things.
