We are excited to host several families and groups through the Christmas Holidays – therefore we need help to decorate the many buildings with trees and other décor for Christmas. Come join us in this task and in exchange we will give you free food and lodging. (Free)


Maid for Holidays
November 21-22, 2014
How would you like to have some assistance in your preparations for the holidays? Sweet Creations staff will teach you how to make some of their favorite candy creations and you will be able to take home a holiday variety platter of homemade candy for your holiday entertaining. Everyone is asked to bring their favorite divinity recipe for a “pick and make” team competition. Chocolate Covered Cherries, Babe Ruth’s, Carmel Chews, Peanut Clusters, and Caramels round out our selection. $115 covers cost of lodging, food, and candy supplies.


Outdoor Christmas Decorating
December 12-13, 2014
We like to make good first impressions – especially during the holidays. We string lights and put up garland & bows and deck out the outside if all the buildings. It looks like a postcard when we’re done. Come and help us – when we’re done we can sing some carols and drink some hot chocolate. In exchange for your help food and lodging is on us. (Free)


Great Cookie Caper

Are you running behind in holiday preparation? Would it help to have an extra hand or two to do your baking? How about this –Bring your favorite special holiday cookie recipe to share and we’ll make a batch or two of everyone’s cookies to divide up and take home for the holidays. That could be 15-20 different kinds of cookies for your holiday entertainment. We’ll have a wonderful time of sharing and conversation while we accomplish this great task. We’ll even take a moment or two to discuss what Jesus meant when he said, “A little leaven…” $115 covers cost of food, lodging, and cookie ingredients. Please submit your recipe with your registration form to assure that we have the proper ingredients available.


President’s Couples Retreat

A fun-filled weekend with Our District President, Rev. Dr. Jim Baneck leading devotions and Kristin Nistler facilitating discussion in our sessions as they lead you through this weekend event. Everyone can grow in their marital relationship so it is open to all. There are no deep secrets divulged or heavy sessions to fix you. Simply put, you will explore ways to enhance the Love & Respect in your marriage in a light-hearted environment. Food, fun, Fellowship and love. $175 per couple gives you a private sleeping room and meals and all program materials.


Men’s Bible Retreat

The goal of the retreat is to strengthen men in their God-given role as leaders in their family, congregation, and community. Men will come away encouraged & more committed to their role as spiritual leaders. Dr. Paul Meier will be our leader this year. He has a great handle on History and will make connections with our faith and the world in which er live. Father & son duo’s are encouraged to come. LUMBER JACK Weekend

With 7 active fireplaces and an outdoor boiler – we need LOTS of WOOD! Bring your own chainsaw or use one of ours as together we cut our next year’s supply of wood. We use wood heat to offset our winter heating costs and also need wood for campfires and fireplaces around camp. We can also put a crew to work splitting the large pieces with our hydraulic splitter.
